On December 2, during the 7th Conference on the Inheritance and Innovative Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Vice President Chen Qiu of our hospital and Mr. Wong Kwai-huen, Chairman of the Board of the Operating Agency of Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Hospital, jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement between the two institutions. This signing marks a new stage in Sichuan-Hong Kong collaboration in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.

As the first public Chinese medicine hospital in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Hospital serves as a flagship institution for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in promoting the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Establishing a deep partnership with it represents a significant step by our hospital in actively responding to the national strategy for the development of traditional Chinese medicine and integrating into the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The two sides will engage in practical cooperation across multiple areas, including medical services, talent cultivation, scientific research and innovation, and cultural exchange. Together, they will drive the inheritance and innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine, providing higher-quality TCM health services to the people of both regions. This collaboration will further enhance the influence of our hospital in the international TCM field, support the global reach of Sichuan-style traditional Chinese medicine, and contribute to the building of a global community of health for all.
