Medical Cosmetology Department

Brief Introduction

Founded in 1993, the Department of Medical Cosmetology is one of the earliest established departments of medical cosmetology in China. We have 2 chief physicians, 1 associate chief physician, 5 attending physicians, 1 physician, and 7 nursing staff. Among them, 1 has doctor’s degree on plastic surgery, 1 is studying for doctor’s degree, 3 have master’s degree on TCM cosmetology, and 2 have master’s degree on plastic surgery of western medicine.

Dominant techniques

Following the culture of "integrity, health and beauty", our department focuses on TCM cosmetology and promotes the development of plastic surgery, laser cosmetology, injection cosmetology. We adopt TCM treatment for the dominant diseases including chloasma, facial anti-aging, and obesity. With the help of world class optoelectronic equipment such as Photoelectric and ThermoLift and under the therapeutic principle of noninvasive or minimally invasive treatment, we carry out a variety of cosmetic techniques such as TCM cosmetology, plastic cosmetology, laser cosmetology, injection cosmetology, etc.

Scientific research

We participated in the compilation of 12 textbooks and more than 100 academic papers have been published. We have more than 20 scientific research projects, including 8 of national and provincial level, and 18 of bureau level. We have won 1 third prize of teaching achievement award of Sichuan and 5 teaching achievement awards of Chengdu University of TCM.

Training programs

As the training base and cradle for attending doctors of cosmetology, we have successfully held National Medical Cosmetology Training Class, National Breast Enhancement Training Class, European Medical Cosmetology Training Class, Taiwan Medical Cosmetology Training Class, Thai TCM Cosmetology Training class, etc.
