Brief Introduction

The Intensive Care Unit, founded in 1995, has always been the department for the treatment of critically ill patients in our hospital. After years’ efforts, we have made outstanding achievements in septic shock, gastrointestinal dysfunction, respiratory failure, severe pancreatitis, acute kidney injury, severe craniocerebral injury, cardiogenic shock, gastrointestinal hemorrhage and severe surgery with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine under the guideline of “the medicine should be given based on its effect, and the treatment scheme should be made with integrated Chinese and Western medicine”. We have a number of scientific research projects of national, provincial, and bureau levels, including National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Equipments

We have adequate medical monitoring equipments, such as Philips central monitoring system, bedside color ultrasonic, electronic fiber bronchoscope, electromagnetic navigation bronchial (ENB) system, electronic gastroscope, ventilator, transfer ventilator, extracorporeal membrane lung (ECMO), aortic balloon counterpulsation instrument, blood purification system, various hemodynamic monitoring systems (Swan Ganz, PiCCO, Vigileo, etc.), multi-functional brain function monitor, sublingual microcirculation monitor, temporary pacemaker, defibrillator, cardiopulmonary resuscitation instrument, temperature control blanket, blood gas analyzer, suspension bed, infusion pump, nutrition pump, blood transfusion pump, injection pump, etc.
