Brief introduction

The Department of Obstetrics is an advanced department integrating clinical service, teaching and scientific research. We have a professional and highly skilled medical team composed of well-trained young and middle-aged professionals. We have outpatient service for common obstetrics, high-risk pregnancy, postpartum rehabilitation, breastfeeding, etc. We also have well-equipped LDR delivery room and family delivery room for predelivery, childbirth and postpartum recovery.

Advantages

Our department has unique advantages in the treatment of threatened abortion, habitual abortion, threatened premature delivery and a variety of obstetric diseases during pregnancy, such as intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, gestational diabetes mellitus, pregnancy induced hypertension, hyperemesis gravidarum, dysuria during pregnancy, fetal growth restriction, polyhydramnios, oligohydramnios, and abnormal fetal position. We integrate vascular embolization, balloon occlusion, filter implantation and other advanced interventional technology for placenta previa, placenta accreta, incision pregnancy, pregnancy complicated with thrombosis and other critical obstetric complications, which significantly reduce the risk of massive hemorrhage, hysterectomy, thromboembolism and other risks. We also have rich clinical experience in diagnosis and treatment of high-risk pregnancy, such as hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, gestational diabetes mellitus, and pregnancy complicated with immune system diseases, pregnancy complicated with heart diseases.

Characteristics of TCM treatment

We give full play to TCM and combine Chinese and western medicine. Moxibustion is adopted for fetal malposition. TCM, paste formula, topical application, steam-wash, moxibustion, ear acupoint sticking, acupoint application, thumbtack needle, catgut embedding at acupoint, dietary therapy and other methods are adopted to promote postpartum recovery and milk secretion. Significant efficacy has been achieved in the treatment of postpartum diseases, such as postpartum abdominal pain, postpartum lochiorrhea, urinary and fecal stoppage, postpartum incontinence, insufficient lactation, oligogalactia, postpartum fever, postpartum spontaneous sweating, night sweats, postpartum depression. Tuina for neonate is carried out to promote the development of nervous system, enhance immunity, improve sleep and promote recovery after diseases. Family members’ accompany is encouraged during labor. Accompany service is provided and analgesia technology is implemented during delivery to avoid the pain of uterine contraction.
