Recently, with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, the Chinese Embassy in Kenya, the Chinese Embassy in South Africa, the Chinese Consulate-General in Johannesburg and the Chinese Consulate-General in Cape Town, the “Renowned Sichuan TCM Practitioners Visiting Overseas Chinese” medical service activities were carried out by Sichuan Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Egypt, Kenya and South Africa.
Lei Qing, Chief Physician of the Dermatology Department, and Wu Jie, Chief Physician of the TCM Preventive Center, were invited to participate in the activities to provide TCM diagnosis and treatment, health lectures and consultation services for overseas Chinese.






According to different symptoms of the patients, the two specialists gave them professional TCM treatment suggestions. The specialists used acupuncture, cupping, auricular points, intradermal needles and other TCM therapies to treat the patients. They also gave health lectures titled “Pain and Cold.”
