From July 18 to July 25, 2024, Lin Shucheng, Vice Chairman of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference, led a delegation to Ireland and North Macedonia to promote traditional Chinese medicine and carry out cultural and educational exchanges and cooperation.

Professor Chen Qiu, vice president of our hospital, and Professor Lei Qing, specialist of the Dermatology Department of our hospital, were invited to join the delegation to provide TCM health consultation, TCM health lectures and other services to local residents of the two countries.

In Ireland and North Macedonia, the two specialists, Chen Qiu and Lei Qing, shared the knowledge of diabetes and skin disease prevention and treatment, and carried out on-site health consultation.

Fernanda, member of Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association of Ireland, said that Sichuan is a very important province for TCM, and she is deeply fond of TCM. Fernanda expressed her hope to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation on TCM, so that more Irish people can better understand TCM.
