He emphasized that the program, centered on the national intangible cultural heritage technique "Pestle Needle Therapy", combined with characteristic Sichuan techniques such as acupuncture and tuina, as well as cultural experience activities, provided a platform for in-depth study for participants from Indonesia, South Africa, France, and Vietnam. Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia, the event further deepened traditional medicine cooperation within the "Belt and Road" framework, highlighting the unique charm of TCM that transcends national boundaries.

In his address, Zheng Chuan first extended warm congratulations on the participants’ successful completion of the program and expressed gratitude to the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine for its guidance and to international partners for their support. He highlighted that the program, using the unique Pestle Needle Therapy as a link, successfully established a high-level international exchange platform for traditional medicine. Zheng spoke highly of the participants' strong interest and diligent exploration during the program, viewing it as the core driving force behind the continuous vitality and development of TCM culture. He emphasized that, as the specific organizing unit, our hospital leveraged the advantages of the National TCM International Cooperation Base to meticulously design a teaching system integrating theory and practice, clinical application, and cultural immersion, committed to providing international participants with a high-quality, immersive learning experience and effectively promoting the international dissemination and recognition of Sichuan's characteristic TCM techniques.

During the ceremony, the participants vividly demonstrated the blending and mutual appreciation of diverse cultures through captivating performances of the Baduanjin, as well as South African and Indonesian dances.

Willie Japarise, Vice Dean of Indonesia's Nalanda Institute, stated that Pestle Needle Therapy has been applied in Indonesia and incorporated into the teaching system, and this in-depth study will further promote the innovative development of the technique in Southeast Asia. Tasneem Iqbal Patel, Vice President of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Africa, praised the profound heritage of Sichuan's TCM, emphasizing that the study content holds significant reference and inspirational value for the development of traditional medicine in Africa.

As a key project of the "Sichuan TCM Clinical Education International Brand Project", this program, leveraging our hospital's platform as the National TCM International Cooperation Base, provided international participants with an immersive learning experience through a model combining theoretical instruction, clinical practice, and cultural immersion.
