On July 13, the "Sichuan TCM International Talent Exchange Capacity Enhancement Training Program," hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and organized by our hospital, concluded successfully. Chen Ying, Director of the International Cooperation Division of the Sichuan Provincial Administration of TCM, and Chen Qiu, Vice Director of our hospital, attended the closing ceremony. As a National TCM International Cooperation Base, our hospital completed the six-week specialized training for 110 TCM backbone personnel from 12 healthcare institutions and TCM units across the province. Through systematic curriculum design and rigorous teaching management, the program has strengthened the talent foundation for Sichuan's TCM internationalization strategy.

The training closely addressed clinical practice and international exchange needs, adopting a dual-track online and offline instructional model. For language proficiency, specialized courses included English case discussions and scenario-based acupuncture terminology drills. The cross-cultural communication module featured experts from the Provincial Department of State Security and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Provincial Party Committee, who provided in-depth analysis of diplomatic etiquette norms and enhanced practical capabilities through overseas dispute resolution case studies. The academic writing component focused on structured SCI paper training. Participants completed a cumulative total of 60 instructional hours.

At the closing ceremony, Chen Ying encouraged attendees to become pioneers in internationalization, translating acquired knowledge into practical capabilities. She urged them to "dedicate efforts to heritage preservation, articulate the TCM narrative effectively, and interpret the wisdom of inspection, auscultation-olfaction, inquiry, and palpation through an international lens." Chen Qiu stated that the hospital will continue leveraging its role as a national base hub, providing platform support for participants to engage in international cooperation projects and jointly script new chapters for Sichuan TCM's global outreach.

This program highlights our hospital's commitment as a national base. By establishing a "teaching-practice-application" closed-loop system, it cultivates emerging professionals with both specialized expertise and global perspectives. As encapsulated in the ceremony's farewell message, participants will "connect global pathways with linguistic needles and convey TCM's warmth through cultural moxa," tangibly advancing Sichuan-style TCM wisdom in serving worldwide health initiatives.
