On September 29, the third episode of the "Joyful Tour of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine" event, hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and organized by our institute, was successfully launched and concluded at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Centered around the theme of "Integrating TCM Culture with Health Tourism," this edition systematically brought together high-quality TCM health tourism resources from across the province, creating a new signature initiative for the international promotion of TCM with distinctive Sichuan characteristics.
The event encompassed multiple segments, including visits to TCM cultural sites, experiences of specialized therapies, cultural and creative handicraft workshops, and on-site tours of health tourism demonstration bases. At the Huashuiwan Sichuan TCM Health Tourism Demonstration Base, participants immersed themselves in activities such as herbal hot springs, medicinal cuisine therapy, stove-side tea brewing, and tours of Chinese herbal gardens, fully appreciating the unique value of TCM in wellness, healing, and tourism.
As the final stop of the event, Xiling Snow Mountain featured performances of traditional TCM fitness practices. Interactive sessions like prize quizzes, feedback collection, and certificate presentations enhanced both engagement and a sense of ceremony, significantly increasing the international participants' involvement and sense of achievement.

As a flagship project for the international promotion of TCM culture in our province, this episode of "Joyful Tour of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine" marked the first time that health tourism demonstration bases were included in the itinerary. This represents a significant step in promoting the global outreach of TCM and the integrated development of "tourism + health." The event not only helps elevate the international influence of TCM culture but also lays a practical foundation for the global promotion of Sichuan's TCM health tourism.
