On January 13, CCTV News Channel's News Live Room aired a special report titled "Tourism + Traditional Chinese Medicine: New Scenes for Inbound Tourism Consumption," focusing on distinctive TCM tourism experiences. As a key platform for promoting TCM culture internationally in Sichuan, the Joyful Tour of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine program, initiated by our hospital, was highlighted by CCTV as a representative case. The report showcased Sichuan's innovative efforts in integrating TCM with tourism and creating new consumption experiences for inbound visitors.

The broadcast emphasized the program's activities at sites such as the Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum and the Huashuiwan TCM Health Tourism Demonstration Base. It featured international participants engaging in a variety of TCM-themed experiences, including cultural tours of TCM museums, hands-on sessions with signature TCM therapies, creative workshops for TCM-inspired products, and traditional health exercises. The program highlighted how such activities enhance the cultural immersion of inbound tourists, allowing them to personally experience the appeal of TCM.

Supported and guided by the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Joyful Tour of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine has been dedicated to advancing the international reach and experiential integration of TCM culture. Since its launch in May 2025, the program has attracted over 200 international participants from more than 20 countries. It has developed three themed experiential tracks: "TCM + Tourism and Wellness," "TCM + Cultural Study Tours," and "TCM + International Exchange," offering tailored and immersive TCM cultural experiences for diverse groups.

Moving forward, our hospital will continue to strengthen collaboration with TCM cultural resources within and beyond the province. We will further enhance the program's content and itinerary design, promote deeper integration between TCM culture and health tourism, and support the global promotion of Sichuan’s TCM heritage. Through these efforts, we strive to contribute Sichuan's wisdom and strength to building a global community of health for all.
